Conferencing, Corporate Entertainment and Event Management

nebusiness.co.uk supplement to be published on Thursday 16th February 2012.

The region’s conference and events market has become increasingly competitive over recent years and the North East scored highly in a national survey to identify this region as a conference destination of choice amongst the UK’s business community.

The North East provides a wealth of corporate facilities from magnificent country houses to city centre hotels and stadiums.

It is important to showcase the vast array of options available to businesses in the North East because these local companies in turn can safely recommend the North East to their customers and suppliers outside of the region.

Following on from the huge growth there has been an emergence of event management companies throughout the region.

By outsourcing events to a specialist company, the time consuming project management and planning is removed, thereby leaving management and staff to focus on the day-to-day business issues.

As well as corporate events, our conference facilities also double-up as fantastic venues for training courses.

Even in these tough market conditions, most companies still see the value in holding external courses.

On Thursday 16th February, The Journal will be publishing a report on conferencing, corporate entertainment and event management for the business community.

This will be published within every copy of The Journal and the content will also be online on for one month on The Journal’s business website, nebusiness.co.uk

This report is likely to cover the following topics:
» Conference and training facilities
» Banqueting and leisure amenities» Corporate entertainment
» Event management

This provides an excellent opportunity for local companies to highlight their own services, facilities and levels of expertise.
